Tasting Notes

In the glass it glows with a soft salmon hue — an invitation to something beautiful. The nose is a bouquet of white peach, ripe strawberries, and a hint of tutti-frutti, while the palate surprises with layers of bright citrus, honeysuckle, hibiscus, and a mineral edge that speaks to its coastal terroir. A whisper of savory acidity gives way to a finish of sweet cherry and vanilla, lingering just long enough to pull you back in.

VINTAGE NOTES

The 2024 growing season in the Green Valley was marked by a cool spring followed by a warm, well-paced summer and a smooth, uninterrupted harvest window — conditions that set up one of the more balanced and expressive vintages in recent memory.
Bud break followed a mild early season, giving vines a gradual start and ample time to develop strong canopies without excessive vigor. A period of warm summer weather helped drive flavor development while the classic Green Valley pattern of cool nights and maritime fog maintained vibrant natural acidity throughout the ripening cycle.
Harvest in 2024 was slightly earlier — a welcome contrast to the challenges of recent years. Fruit quality coming in from the estate vineyards shows excellent balance: sugars and acids tracking harmoniously, concentrated flavor development, and strong phenolic maturity. Clusters tended toward modest yields with small berries, signaling the potential for wines with precision, texture, and clarity of varietal expression.
What to expect from 2024 Pinot Noir Rosé: poised between classic cool-climate definition and ripe varietal character, with verve and structural balance that reflect the site’s signature finesse.
